One thing leads to another! It all started with fresh lemonade from our little lemon tree. Later we made some lemon/honey. Then we saw a thing about drying the lemon peels to make a powder. It would be for seasonings, aka lemon pepper etc. I sprinkled a bit on my collards and later some grits and then fresh shrimp. Fantastic! So when in Greece we saw a FRESH orange juice machine. Research informed us that the so -called 100% orange juice we have in this country is anything but that. So now, we are juicing and ingesting smaller but healthier amounts of real orange juice. NEXT, we are powdering orange peels to the same wonderful type of seasoning. Then Candy sees a probiotic citrus fruit recipe. This calls for whey. No way, yes whey. Not curds and whey, just whey. Since she always gets her way, now we have to drain organic yogurt to get her whey. The good news is organic plain yogurt is cheaper than flavored, chemed processed yogurt. Then the next ingredient we need is raw unprocessed cane sugar called sucamate or something like that. We found it. However, the raw unprocessed cane sugar is seven times the cost of processed refined cane sugar. Now how the heck can that be?! Oh my head is aching. Did you know that people in France that drink a lot of red wine, eat cheese, and butter, and smoke unfiltered cigarettes have a longer life expectancy than we do here. They also have this thing called menage a trois. Candy is quite adamant that this is not a healthy part of the diet. In fact, she states that if I research this any further my life expectancy is going to be cut short. That's it! Look out McDonalds! GAME ON!
