Day 975 of the coronavirus lockdown.

It seems that my daily walk with my rifle doesn't cheer me up much any longer.

I haven't seen other human in months. After society disintegrated after the economy collapsed, it all went sideways.

I plan on walking around five miles today. It's what I normally do. I remember reading online (when we still had the Internet) that walking daily was good for you.

It's not so much the exercise that I crave. It's human companionship. I am alone and lonely.

I keep expecting to find someone else out here in the Colorado countryside, but no. I find no one.

Every time I go to a house and cautiously open it up to see what's inside, I find not a soul. Bodies? Sure. I've seen plenty of them, especially the ones that couldn't take the loneliness and offed themselves.

But now? This many days out? Not a soul. It's so quiet.

Sometimes I scream out loud to try to alleviate the pressure in my head, but it doesn't.

And no matter how much time I spend in the sun as one of my natural remedies, it doesn't help my depression.

Maybe I will meet someone out here soon. I need to, before I completely lose my mind.

All, I am looking to grow my following and improve my writing. I'd love it if you followed me. I mostly follow people back unless they look spammy. :D

Peace and love,
