If you are like me you found Steemit via owning steem on an exchange.
Steem was added to my coinspot exchange (follow me and check my blog for details how to join) and volume was up so I got on board.
Initially I was going to ride the High ans sell off once I had made a profit.
But as with all coins I own I did research to find out what it is about and what potential growth it has! thus leading me here!
Now something that confused me to start off was how to transfer my Steem I have on the exchange to here.
Now here is a step by step instructions to get your steem from the exchange to here on your Steemit wallet.
- click your Steemit Wallet
- Click permissions and copy and paste your "MEMO" key/password/id what ever you would like to refer it as
- Open us exchange where your Steem coins are kept.
- click withdraw. it will then ask for wallet id and memo
- in wallet ID put in your user name eg robbo921 (thats mine use your own)
- in MEMO paste your memo key from step 2.
- put in your password or Two Factor code.
- Proceed and verify email- takes 10-20mins to hit your steemit account (in my experiences yours may differ)
