In small cities like Évora (Portugal) the quiet and peaceful life is appreciated. The bad part is the lack of many other things that large cities offer. Sophisticated places that mix the modern and the old are ideal to boost the social life in historical cities. A new coffee shop may not be just a coffee shop. It may become a go-to place for some people that don’t suit in other coffee shops. It can be a place where some people feel they belong and make sure they will make it a routine to go there.
Recently, a new coffee shop opened in the city historic center, I went there and I liked it. It felt natural. I now have a new place.
