Como recordar谩n a煤n me quedan pendientes algunas cositas por mostrarles de mi visita al Museo Nueva C谩diz ubicado en la Asunci贸n, y es que como les dije, hab铆a tanto que vale la pena mostrar que era dif铆cil hacerlo en una sola publicaci贸n, y la verdad esta se supone que estar铆a dedicada solo a la sala 4 y en otra mostrarles otras cositas del museo que me gustaron bastante, pero tampoco quiero volverlos locos con tantos posts del museo, as铆 que vamos con la sala 4 y algunas fotitos de espacios lindos y cositas interesantes que vi en mi visita.
As you may recall, I still have a few things left to show you from my visit to the Museo Nueva C谩diz located in Asunci贸n. As I mentioned, there was so much worth showing that it was difficult to do it in a single post. This one is supposed to be dedicated solely to Room 4, and in another post I will show you other things from the museum that I really liked. But I don't want to drive you crazy with so many posts about the museum, so let's move on to Room 4 and some photos of beautiful spaces and interesting things I saw during my visit.
Y vamos a comenzar con la sala cuatro que se encuentra escaleras arriba a un ladito de la exposici贸n Perlas de Cubagua, y como pueden ver en las fotos es una sala angosta y larga, con poca iluminaci贸n y sin aire acondicionado, bastante diferente a la sala Carlos Sthor que les mostr茅 hace poco, pero la verdad es que esos detalles no me importaron porque sus paredes estaban repletas de pinturas s煤per lindas y muy interesantes, muestra del talento local.
Se pod铆an ver diferentes t茅cnicas y estilos, adem谩s de materiales diferentes tambi茅n, algunas pinturas abstractas, retratos y paisajes, que aunque no son mis favoritos
, debo reconocer estaban muy lindos.
Let's start with Room 4, which is located upstairs, next to the Perlas de Cubagua exhibition. and as you can see in the photos, it is a narrow, long room with poor lighting and no air conditioning, quite different from the Carlos Sthor room I showed you recently, but the truth is that those details didn't matter to me because its walls were covered with beautiful and very interesting paintings, showcasing local talent.
You could see different techniques and styles, as well as different materials, some abstract paintings, portraits, and landscapes, which, although not my favorites,
I must admit were very beautiful.
Sin embargo, para m铆, el principal atractivo de la sala era una maqueta de la Catedral de Nuestra Se帽ora de la Asunci贸n, elaborada a escala en cart贸n, muy bien hecha y con todos los peque帽os detalles que se puedan imaginar, adem谩s se encontraban algunas esculturas, en este caso todas en piedra.
La verdad es que yo disfrute mucho la visita al museo, especialmente las salas donde ten铆an pinturas y esculturas, sin embargo me hubiese gustado que esta sala al igual que la de Cubagua contaran con una mejor iluminaci贸n y con aire acondicionado, de esa forma los visitantes disfrutan a plenitud de la visita, pero dejando de lado eso, la pinturas de esta sala me gustaron un mont贸n, sobre todo las abstractas y el retrato de una chica de piel morena rodeada de cayenas s煤per coloridas.
However, for me, the main attraction of the room was a scale model of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, made of cardboard, very well done and with all the small details you can imagine. There were also some sculptures, in this case all made of stone.
The truth is that I really enjoyed the visit to the museum, especially the rooms where they had paintings and sculptures. but I would have liked this room, like the Cubagua room, to have better lighting and air conditioning, so that visitors could fully enjoy the visit. But putting that aside, I really liked the paintings in this room, especially the abstract ones and the portrait of a dark-skinned girl surrounded by colorful cayenne peppers.
Y ahora continuamos con algunas fotitos super lindas e interesantes de cositas que me encontr茅 en el Museo, y en primer lugar est谩 una sala s煤per peque帽a de la que les habl茅 en la primera publicaci贸n del museo donde mayormente se encontraban art铆culos musicales de hace bastante tiempo atr谩s, digamos que retro o vintage, para no decir viejos 馃ぃ馃ぃ
Ten铆an un toca discos, discos de acetato por todos lados, incluso decorando las paredes, adem谩s varias cajas de casetes, en su mayor铆a tanto los discos como los casetes eran de m煤sica cl谩sica, 贸pera y algunos cantantes de folclore, y como me faltaron cositas sin mostrar hoy se las comparto en esta publicaci贸n.
And now we continue with some super cute and interesting photos of things I found in the museum. First up is a tiny room I mentioned in my first post about the museum, which mainly contained musical items from quite some time ago鈥攍et's say retro or vintage, rather than old 馃ぃ馃ぃ
They had a record player, vinyl records everywhere, even decorating the walls, as well as several boxes of cassettes. Most of the records and cassettes were classical music, opera, and some folk singers, and since I didn't show you everything, I'm sharing them with you in this post.
Al salir de esta salita est谩 el patio central muy bien cuidado, lleno de mucho verde, y donde me encontr茅 en el suelo algunas lozas hechas en cemento bastante antiguas, dos de ellas para identificar sitios p煤blicos como el parque Luisa C谩ceres de Arismendi y el teatro uni贸n adem谩s de la l谩pida de una tumba del a帽o 1.863 que me parecieron s煤per interesantes por lo antiguas que son.
Por otro lado algo que me encant贸 de este lugar es que a donde vieras hab铆a algo lindo e interesante, as铆 que por favor, di vives en Margarita, y no has visitado este museo tienes que ir, y si vienes de visita an贸talo en tu lista de lugares por conocer.
When you leave this small room, you come to the well-kept central courtyard, full of greenery, where I found some quite old cement tiles on the ground, two of them identifying public places such as Luisa C谩ceres de Arismendi Park and the Uni贸n Theater, as well as a tombstone from 1863, which I found super interesting because of how old they are.
Another thing I loved about this place is that everywhere you looked there was something beautiful and interesting, so please, if you live in Margarita and haven't visited this museum, you have to go, and if you're visiting, add it to your list of places to see.
