Hello foodies, feliz inicio de mes!! Hoy por aquí no hay receta, aunque sí les vengo a hablar de comida, y es que por dicha hoy no tuve que cocinar puesto que nos tocó entregar un pedido de nuestro emprendimiento que consistía en un ramo de flores y sushi y quedamos a cargo de omprarlo, así que por supuesto nos fuimos a Bonsai, el mejor lugar para disfrutar de este delicioso platillo japonés en la isla.
Hello foodies, happy start to the month!! There’s no recipe here today, though I am here to talk about food. As luck would have it, I didn’t have to cook today because we had to deliver an order from our business—a bouquet of flowers and sushi—and we were in charge of picking it up, so of course we went to Bonsai, the best place on the island to enjoy this delicious Japanese dish.
En esta oportunidad nos fuimos a la sucursal ubicada en el C.C. Sambil. Esta fue la primera sucursal de este restaurante en nuestra isla, y sin duda alguna la más bella de todas, ya que funciona tipo restaurante, a diferencia de sus sucursales el C.C. La Vela y C.C. Parque Costa Azul que funcionan como un local de comida rápida.
El ambiente es bastante sobrio, elegante y con una iluminación preciosa y cuenta con dos ambientes, uno "al aire libre", y otro bajo techo, aunque técnicamente ambos están bajo techo, ya que este C.C. es una especie de cúpula, pero en fin, ya saben a lo que me refiero. Tiene dos ambientes, uno más relajado y otro más formal e intimo que cuenta con diferentes zonas, cada una con una decoración diferente, y mesas variadas dependiendo de la cantidad de comensales.
This time we went to the location in the Sambil Shopping Center. This was the first location of this restaurant on our island, and without a doubt the most beautiful of them all, since it operates as a full-service restaurant, unlike its locations in the La Vela and Parque Costa Azul shopping centers, which operate as fast-food outlets.
The atmosphere is quite understated and elegant, with beautiful lighting, and it features two distinct areas: one “outdoor” and another indoor—though technically both are indoors, since this mall is shaped like a dome, but anyway, you know what I mean. It has two areas: one that’s more relaxed and another that’s more formal and intimate, featuring different zones, each with its own decor, and a variety of tables depending on the number of diners.
Como les comenté la idea era pedir para llevar el para la entrega, pero estando allí por supuesto que me dieron ganas de comer sushi y terminamos pidiendo unas promociones en 9$ para nosotros y los chicos, por supuesto también para llevar, ya que teníamos que entregar el pedido.
Los seleccionados fueron Yonaguni roll y Fujisawa roll, dos roles tempurizados que como siempre estaban absolutamente deliciosos y que disfrutamos cómodamente en casita luego de hacer nuestra entrega, y como les digo siempre, Bonsai no decepciona!.
As I mentioned, the plan was to order takeout for the delivery, but once we were there, of course I got a craving for sushi, so we ended up ordering some $9 specials for us and the kids—also for takeout, of course, since we had to make the delivery.
We chose the Yonaguni roll and the Fujisawa roll—two tempura rolls that, as always, were absolutely delicious and that we enjoyed in the comfort of our own home after making our delivery. And as I always say, Bonsai never disappoints!
Y bueno gente, así fue como me libré de cocinar el día de hoy y terminé disfrutando de uno de mis platillos favoritos en el mundo mundial.
Well, folks, that's how I got out of cooking today and ended up enjoying one of my absolute favorite dishes in the whole wide world.
