Hello chicos, cómo ha estado su día? El mio bastante ocupado haciendo un montón de cosas en casa y todavía no termino, pero tenía pendiente el compartir con ustedes el paso a paso de un arreglo que estuve haciendo días para nuestro emprendimiento Detallitos Dulces.
Hi, guys, how's your day been? Mine's been pretty busy—I've been doing a bunch of things around the house and I'm still not done—but I've been meaning to share with you the step-by-step process for an arrangement I've been working on for the past few days for our business Detallitos Dulces.
Este arreglo era un poco diferente a los que acostumbro hacer ya que querían bombones, flores, una bebida espumante y algunos globos pequeños, así que decidí trabajar con una estructura diferente y la verdad es que resultó bastante bien aunque no amé la mezcla de dorado y plateado, pero hay clientes que vienen con una idea de lo que quieren y no aceptan sugerencias 🥲
Y ahora sí vamos con los materiales y el paso a paso.
This arrangement was a little different from the ones I usually make, since they wanted chocolates, flowers, sparkling wine, and some small balloons, so I decided to use a different structure. To be honest, it turned out pretty well, although I wasn’t crazy about the mix of gold and silver—but some clients come in with a specific idea of what they want and won’t take any suggestions 🥲
And now let’s get into the materials and the step-by-step instructions.

Lo primero que hice para la elaboración de este arreglo fue decidir el lugar en el que iría la botella y en base a eso ubique la base para tortas en la parte posterior de la caja de madera y la fijé con ayuda de la pistola de silicón.
The first thing I did when creating this arrangement was to decide where the bottle would go, and based on that, I placed the cake stand at the back of the wooden box and secured it with a hot glue gun.
El el siguiente paso fue trabajar en las dos partes fundamentales del arreglo. La primera que sería donde estarían ubicadas las flores y la segunda, lo que sería la base para los bombones de chocolate en forma de corazón para esto decidí cortar dos piezas de oasis una un poco más grande que la otra en la que iría en las flores y lo que hice fue humeder la pieza más grande,y como sabemos para hacer esto, debemos agregar en una cantidad suficiente cantidad de agua en un envase y colocar nuestra pieza de oasis para que absorba la humedad necesaria.
Seguidamente envolví el oasis en dos bolsas plásticas para evitar que el agua se escurriera y mojara la madera. y paso seguido procedí a colocar las flores en el oasis de manera armónica. Y como ven quedó bastante lindo.
The next step was to work on the two main parts of the arrangement. The first would be where the flowers would go, and the second would be the base for the heart-shaped chocolate candies. For this, I decided to cut two pieces of floral foam—one slightly larger than the other—with the larger one intended for the flowers. I moistened the larger piece, and as we know, to do this, we need to add a sufficient amount of water to a container and place our piece of floral foam in it so it absorbs the necessary moisture.
Next, I wrapped the floral foam in two plastic bags to prevent the water from leaking out and wetting the wood. Then I proceeded to arrange the flowers in the floral foam in a harmonious way. And as you can see, it turned out quite nice.
En la pieza más pequeña de oasis que sería el lugar donde nayormente estarian los bombones de chocolate, decidí colocar algunas ramiras de pino para cubrirlo y listo este paso ubiqué el oasis con las flores en la parte delantera de la cajita de madera y detrás de ella, el oasis que es serviría para colocar los bombones de chocolate.
In the smaller piece of floral foam—which would mainly hold the chocolates—I decided to place some pine branches to cover it. With that step complete, I positioned the floral foam with the flowers at the front of the wooden box and, behind it, the floral foam that would hold the chocolates.
Seguidamente pinté los palitos de brocheta en color blanco, y una vez secos con ayuda del silicón caliente los pegué detrás de los bombones de chocolate y seguidamente los fui ubicando en su lugar en el oasis hasta colocarlos todos.
Next, I painted the skewers white, and once they were dry, I used hot glue to attach them to the back of the chocolate candies. Then I arranged them in the floral foam until they were all in place.
Una vez que los bombones estuvieron en su lugar, ubiqué la botella de vino espumante justo al lado del oasis con los bombones y para continuar hice una bolsita en forma de sobre con el papel de regalo dorado para colocar dentro los aretes que eran parte del regalo. a vez los coloqué dentro, le pegué uno de los bombones de chocolate y con papel de seda rosado de una base para ubicarlos dentro de la caja. dejando que sobresalía un poco de la izquierda para darle un poco de volumen a esta parte de nuestro arreglo.
El siguiente paso fue recortar y pegar la frase que iría en el frente de nuestra cajita, y en este caso decía "para alguien especial".
Una vez la pegamos, ya nuestro arreglo está prácticamente listo y la verdad es que yo lo hubiese dejado simplemente así o hubiese utilizado globos en color rojo, pero el cliente de ninguna manera aceptó la sugerencia, así que trabajamos con los plateados.
Once the chocolates were in place, I placed the bottle of sparkling wine right next to the floral foam with the chocolates, and then I made a small envelope-shaped pouch out of the gold wrapping paper to hold the earrings that were part of the gift. Once I placed them inside, I attached one of the chocolates and used some pink tissue paper as a base to secure them inside the box, letting it stick out a little on the left to add some volume to this part of our arrangement.
The next step was to cut out and glue the phrase that would go on the front of our little box, which in this case read "for someone special".
Once we glued it on, our arrangement was practically finished, and to be honest, I would have left it just like that or used red balloons, but the client absolutely refused to accept that suggestion, so we went with the silver ones.
Para el armado del arco de globos, vamos a comenzar inflando solo un poco los globos de 5" de látex y lo que haremos es hacer el nudo justo en la punta, seguidamente con ambas manos lo giramos para dividirlo en dos. Repetimos el paso con otro globo y luego los unimos dando vuelta hasta que estén bien conectados.
Vamos a repetir este procedimiento las veces que sean necesarias para completar el largo de nuestro arco y lo que haremos para fijarlos en la base para pastel, es agregar un poco de silicon frío alrededor, justo en el borde, y los iremos ubicados, tomando en cuenta que queremos tratar de encajarlos entre la base, es decir, que algunos globos van a verse por la parte delantera y otros globos por la parte de atrás, esto nos asegurará que nuestros globitos queden muy bien fijados y de esta manera tenemos listo nuestro arreglo.
To assemble the balloon arch, we’ll start by inflating the 5" latex balloons just a little, then tie a knot right at the tip. Next, using both hands, we’ll twist it to split it in two. We’ll repeat this step with another balloon and then join them together by twisting until they’re securely connected.
We’ll repeat this process as many times as necessary to reach the desired length of our arch. To secure them to the cake stand, we’ll apply a small amount of cold silicone around the edge and position the balloons, making sure to fit them snugly between the stand’s sections—meaning some balloons will be visible from the front and others from the back. This will ensure that our balloons are securely fastened, and with that, our arrangement is ready.
Como pueden ver el resultado es muy lindo (a pesar de los globos plateados) y lo mejor de todo es que el cliente y la chica que recibió el arreglo quedaron satisfechos y muy felices con el resultado. Pero cuénteme qué piensan ustedes, globos rojos o plateados?
As you can see, the result is really pretty (despite the silver balloons), and best of all, the client and the girl who received the arrangement were satisfied and very happy with the result. But tell me what you think—red or silver balloons?
