Money, we all need money, we want more money, the want especially, it is a very common thing among us all. It is something most of us give a lot of importance to in our lives, sometimes way more than needed. Some people even live their whole lives in search of making more money for their never-ending list of wants. We chase it so bad, like it is some legendary item from a damn video game. Yet, many people do ignore how money creates division among us humans, sometimes bringing in unwanted attention and hate, when you have a lot of it. Nowadays the hunger for money has become somewhat of a "trend" seeing people all around preaching things like "money is the solution to everything" "money equals power" it's quite funny really, whenever I see such people. Seeing people being controlled by a piece of paper, leading them to a point where sometimes they can't choose between what's right or wrong. Usually influencing many towards more wrongs than rights. This just shows how delusional and ignorant people still are and the number of such people is still quite mind boggling at the moment. Silly me, I used to think people were actually getting a bit wiser, that ignorance was slowly fading away, but maybe we will have to be a bit more patient and have some faith in the process.
Now, I'm not saying these people are totally out of their minds(at least the ones I know) most of them are quite sensible about most things in life. But some of them do share that one belief about money being the solution to everything, money = zero problems and peace of mind. This simply shows how little they know about the world, about the people around them and about reality itself. Such a mindset tends to make people quite self-centered and narrow-minded, such people usually tend to be rather ungrateful as well. They think the world revolves around them and all the problems and burdens of life have been all been piled up and stacked on them and them only. Usually leaving out what they already have, the good things, a roof over their heads, family, friends, a loving partner, good health, peace of mind and so on. We usually tend to take such things for granted, because we think "well everyone has such things" sadly, not everyone does.
Still being "young" and in my mid 20s, a lot of people might say "you still have a lot to learn and a long way to go" yes the journey would be long, but the journey of life is uncertain and we can't guarantee if there will be a journey or not. Now, I might not have been on many "journeys" yet I have seen and been through quite a bit. I have learned things and come to realize a lot of things way earlier than the usual bunch would've and I am in a way grateful to have experienced such things. Because I believe that such experiences, be it good or bad, shape us for the world ahead, some making us stronger and wiser. Yes, sometimes they do leave a nasty scar behind, but try not to pay attention to the scar that much, it will heal when the time is right. They all might not have been the most pleasant of experiences, but I am glad that I was given the attitude to always find something positive in the worst of experiences. Always taking home a lesson, that I would forever remember and apply in life ahead. The lessons I have learned have made me wiser, more observant, gave me the ability to think from other people's perspectives even if they believe in the complete opposite of what I believe in. I still try to engage and know more about what fascinates them towards thinking in such a way. Do they think this way simply because the cards they've been dealt in life are completely different compared to others or is it something they think is correct just because they've been ignorant and have never been open to other's opinions and views in life?
So, when people say such things like money is the ultimate solution, tell them that NON of us share the same exact problems, so how do you expect your "solutions" to be correct for the rest? There are sometimes issues that come with no solutions or sometimes we're just afraid, even if we know the answer and have the solution, we're just too afraid to face the issue and put an end to it. We have all lived very different lives and lifestyles and have grown up in different environments and households. I have seen families who aren't quite wealthy, yet the bond they share is just mesmerizing and powerful. I know people wealthy enough to feed three generations ahead, yet there's no sings of love, care or affection, they don't get along well, emptiness all around. There have been sudden loss of loved ones, where all the money in the world would not even bring them back, not even for a measly minute. Many people out there with trauma, being reminded of those traumatizing events again and again EVERYDAY, no matter how many doctors, whatever meds money has no power in such things.
Money is necessary and you only need a certain amount and a few things here and there to survive, but don't make your life and living all about money, thinking it will be the solution to all your problems. Life is unpredictable and relentless, look for balance, live below your means, spend time with your loved ones and take care of them while you have the chance. Because these are the things that truly matter, the moments we cherish, togetherness.
Make a sufficient amount of money(whatever is sufficient for your lifestyle and goals) learn to manage time and money both(sooner the better) invest time in travelling, different hobbies and interests. Get fit, eat well, hangout and jam, give time to friends and family, help those who are in need of it, create memories worth remembering and going back to, live the moment. Don't go around giving the power of your true happiness to money or material alone, you'll end up in a loop if you do so. Chase experiences, connections, learning and always be on the search for your true purpose here in this world.
