The good thing about coffee is that you don't need holidays and festivals to enjoy a cup of coffee with your loved ones...

Coffee alone is the compelling aspect, powerful enough to bring a whole group of people together. Chit chats, gossip, and a bit of storytelling, all served as a side bonus to coffee. After work, school, or early in the morning, coffee just brightens up the day.

And if you have someone to share it with, well, then aren't you lucky?

It's the Christmas Season, and even though we don't celebrate the festival, we do enjoy seeing the people who celebrate it profoundly. Who doesn't love the Christmas decorations? Christmas lights, mistletoes, jingle bells, and jungle drums...

Christmas or not, NYE or not, it's winter after all, and over here we truly cherish winter. Since it's basically just 9 to 10 months of summer here.

All year round we get scorched by the heat and tolerate its harsh treatment.

So, winter certainly feels like a blessing. And what makes our winter mornings and evenings even better? A good cup of coffee, and sometimes a bit of hot chocolate too.

The other day the gang and I were out hunting again. Yet, the main plan was to get together and engage in a bit of chit-chat and get some coffee and food together. We were just trying to put this cool Season of winter to good use. There's no point in staying indoors when the weather is so pleasant.

A glimmer from the sun, a light cool breeze, and the fairly chilly weather, is there anything better mother nature can offer amidst this concrete jungle? I don't think so. It feels like a mini holiday, as we maintain our daily routine and lifestyle.

Now, we may not get Christmas gifts, but we surely do get Christmas-themed items.

As we were on the hunt, we found some solid deals that day. And from a bevy of items, this JPG Le Male with the little sweater stood out the best. It's a new Christmas-themed limited-edition packaging, probably used to secure more sales. Because no matter how good JPG fragrances are, their packaging is kinda meh lol. And by packaging I mean the tin box/can, not the bottle itself.

The bottle is quite nice actually, and it's packing quite the package lol. And it's probably the first time we've seen it put some clothes on haha.

So, their little campaign ended up working; since we ended up getting three identical bottles lol.

It's a fragrance suitable for cooler weather, so the timing was perfect I'd say. Yet, it's a bit too minty and fresh for me. For winter I prefer a darker, smoky, whiskey or rum combination for my fragrances, which is tougher to pull off.

Fun fact: coffee can be a good addition to fragrances as well, did you guys know that? In perfumery, a subtle note of coffee goes well with the whiskey note they say. Add with it a tad bit of leather, and some citruses and you may just have one of the best winter fragrances out there.

But hey, that's just what my nose and skin prefer...

Cheers folks! Happy Holidays to you all. ☕️🎄
