Until now, the street food area around Langsa City is still a popular place visited by many people. Here, we can find various kinds of street food, ranging from food to drinks, with prices that are quite cheap and affordable. Moreover, its location, which is quite close to Langsa City’s Merdeka Square, gives anyone no reason to be too lazy to stop by this area.
Under the light of the moon, my friend and I decided to visit the street food area to look for some delicious food and refreshing drinks. However, at that time, we also took the opportunity to take a short rest around Langsa City’s Merdeka Square.
Perhaps the most peaceful time in Aceh is during Maghrib (The Transition from Day to Night ). At that time, all community activities seem to pause for a moment. Everything stops, everyone takes a rest, and this has become a tradition in my area.
At that moment, I also decided to enjoy the moment by taking a short rest around the area of Merdeka Square in Langsa.
At that time, the sunlight had already been replaced by the moonlight. The city lights had begun to appear, signaling that the activities of the community had returned to normal.
After getting enough rest, we decided to head straight to the street food area. During the journey, I was attracted by the view of a fairly well-known cafe in Langsa City, called “Langsa City Cafe.” I decided to stop for a moment by the roadside to capture the beauty of the view.
And this is the view of the street food area on the outskirts of Langsa City. Along this road, we can find so many food stalls and food carts selling various kinds of food and drinks.
There may be several people selling the same kind of food, but the taste and experience are still different.
Because there were so many vendors and different kinds of food available, I became confused about what kind of food to buy. However, at that time, my friend and I chose to buy grilled meatballs, egg martabak, and orange juice.
They tasted delicious, and the prices were also very affordable. This is one of the reasons why this area is always crowded with visitors.
After buying some of those snacks, we decided to head home. At that time, I was planning to enjoy the snacks at home, but my friend suggested that we enjoy them at Langsa City’s Merdeka Square instead. The reason was that freshly cooked, warm food has a stronger flavor and tastes even better.
That was true, so we decided to stop by the area around Langsa City’s Merdeka Square once again to take a rest and enjoy the delicious snacks we had just bought.
