I'm sharing with you the process from start to finish of creating one of the #portrait s I've painted. This #painting was drawn on cardboard using charcoal, and then acrylic paint was added.
While using charcoal, you can also use a charcoal pencil because the two go well together and blend easily. Be careful that when using dry charcoal, the tip of your pencil shouldn’t be oily or greasy, as they will conflict and make smudging difficult. For better results, make sure to do a few quick sketches before starting the main work. #Sketching is like warming up your hand. A football player warms up by running before stepping onto the field, but we artists need to warm up our hands with drawing and sketching.
It doesn't matter what your topic is, you can start by designing a vase or drawing a landscape, pay attention to your interests and draw a few sketches every day.
If you have any questions about painting, #drawing , or visual #art s, I am a painting graduate and you can ask me. I will gladly answer you. Even if you have painted something, you can send me your post so that I can guide you under that same post and help your future works improve. Yours sincerely, Rishehri
