Kratos and Atreus escaped Freya's relentless pursuit, making it safely back home to feed their sled wolves. At home, they faced the heartbreaking loss of Atreus's giant wolf Fenrir. After Fenrir passed away, Kratos and Atreus argued over training and preparing for the upcoming war they were not ready for.
So Freya kept trying to stop Kratos, but Atreus managed to distract her. Kratos took the opportunity to attack her, so she was really stopped for a moment.
The lady then got hurt, so she could not follow them anymore. Later, she did her best to try to stop them with her power, but the father and son somehow managed to get through the starve and made it in one piece.
It looked like we made it to a boundary where no one could hurt us, but we still had some paths to cover before getting to home.
After reaching home, Atreus fed the wolves that were pulling them all this time. The kid himself carried the big deer on his back to hang it for the wolves so they could have a feast on it.
Then I got control of Kratos after all this time. The first thing I did was enter photo mode to tweak his face, giving him a smiley look before trying some more tweaks with the settings.
We moved ahead, and Atreus ran to our sick wolf Fenrir, who was waiting for us. It looked like the wolf was so connected with Atreus as they greeted each other.
Atreus tried to feed the wolf, but it was not opening its mouth for the meat. Even after trying to eat it, Fenrir could not swallow the meat, so Kratos understood the wolf did not have enough time and asked Atreus to prepare himself.
Knowing Fenrir was dying, Atreus became a lot more sad and hugged his best friend tightly while telling Fenrir that he could rest now and let go. Atreus said something, and it looked like Fenrir's soul came out of his body right in front of them.
The father and son then had a word fight where Kratos asked Atreus for training, mentioning they were preparing for a fight for which they were not ready.
