After Miles saved Hailey and used their symbiotic connection to chat, he rushed to help Peter. Searching the dark subway tunnels for Harry and the meteorite, I confronted Venom's voice as Peter before facing a terrifying horde of symbiotes. I barely tried survive the brutal swarming onslaught using his own symbiote powers.
Miles reached the spot and saved Hailey who mentioned that the monster attacked and she tried to defend herself. Miles was there just when she was needed elsewhere, and he said he was simply trying to keep her safe.
Around them were more people, it looked like those were all the unfortunate hosts the symbiotes had taken and I guess Hailey saved them with her smartness.
Seeing how brave she was, Miles told her that she was incredible and asked if she wanted to go out on a date.
Hailey replied that she liked the new suit, mentioning it really suited Miles. Then she said she was busy, but would check her calendar to see if a date could happen. Since Hailey is mute, they communicated using symbiotic language.
Miles then left the area to find Peter and help him out, mentioning he was on his way, but he hadn't heard back from Peter yet. That silence made me worry that something bad might have happened to him.
Thankfully, nothing bad had happened to Peter yet. He was inside the subway tunnel now, shouting for Harry because he wanted to find the meteorite. Peter was trying to call Harry, mentioning that Dr. Connors said Harry was too far gone, but Peter refused to give up on him.
He talked about how terrible that dream was, about hitting the walls, and he apologized aloud, though we didn't hear anything back from Harry or Venom.
I kept moving ahead to see if we could find Harry around here. It looked like the whole place had been taken over by Venom's massive tentacles, and I guessed we were getting closer to Harry or even bigger threats. The entire area was covered with symbiotes.
As I got closer to the meteorite, Venom started talking. He mentioned that he knew Peter was here, and asked if he was finally ready. Peter was weeping, saying he can't do it.
Then something happened, Venom or his symbiotes did something that flickered the lights around the place, and everything plunged into total darkness right after.
Suddenly, a massive horde of symbiotes came rushing to attack me. I dodged the first attack perfectly and then tried a finisher on one of the symbiotes while the rest of the horde waited behind.
It was a fantastic animation where Peter pulls the host right out of the symbiote.
After that, I had to keep fighting the rest of the symbiotes. I started using my symbiote's power against these devilish creatures.
It was a huge struggle when all the symbiotes attacked me at the exact same time. Fighting all of them at once felt just like fighting a zombie horde alone.
I badly needed Venom's rage then, trying my best to conserve my health points and take less damage while keeping up my attacks. Finally, after a grueling battle, I took down the last symbiote left in the area.
