The photos 馃摳 are my entry to the #monomad contest from monochromes@monochromes and brumest@brumest.

Hello, black and white community.

I recently acquired a new lens for my camera from a friend who gave it to me very cheaply. A vintage 1960's specimen that was in very poor condition, but that has never stopped me. Many photographers love to say that these old warriors are better than the modern ones, that they have character and personality, that they are a forgotten marvel. I include myself. But I think the reality is that in Cuba it is very difficult to obtain new and good quality equipment. That's why we turn with a lot of enthusiasm to these crystals of several decades of manufacture.

After cleaning it, lubricating it well and adjusting the focus, I set out to test the result of my work. The first to be targeted was Smurf, faithful friend, and his inseparable friend, Waste. We talked about the names in another post. Then appeared through the portal the smallest of our community, little Sheyla, who only a few weeks ago did not know how to walk and already runs like crazy. With the curiosity inherent in children, she looked straight ahead at the dogs and they at her, as if exploring what new critter had appeared. And, well, of course, it all got recorded.

I don't expect too much from this little series, but I must say it gives me great satisfaction when I bring these old kits back to life. Warriors that still have a lot to say.

I hope you like the pictures, I'll read you in the comments!

Hola, comunidad blanco y negro.

Yo me incluyo.

Guerreros que a煤n tienen mucho que decir.

Espero que les gusten las fotos. 隆Los leo en los comentarios!
