I did not have much faith in this session that I am sharing today, because it was done almost at night and with only one light. Honestly, the results were much better than I expected.
Working with such low light is always a challenge, especially when there is no room for mistakes. Every movement matters, every shadow becomes stronger, and every gesture gains more presence. In these conditions, light stops being just a technical tool and becomes the main element that defines the atmosphere of the image.
I used a single light source, positioned in a way that shaped the face and body without completely eliminating the shadows. I was interested in maintaining that balance between what is visible and what remains hidden, where the image breathes and does not reveal everything immediately. I believe that limitation ended up working in favor of the result, bringing a more intimate and honest feeling.
Many times one thinks they need more equipment or better conditions, but sessions like this remind me that the most important thing is knowing how to use what you have at the moment. Simplicity, when used intentionally, can be far more powerful than complexity.

Esta sesi贸n que les comparto hoy no le ten铆a mucha fe, porque fueron hechas casi de noche y con una sola luz. La verdad quedaron mucho mejor de lo que esperaba.
Trabajar con tan poca iluminaci贸n siempre es un reto, sobre todo cuando no tienes margen para errores. Cada movimiento cuenta, cada sombra aparece con m谩s fuerza, y cada gesto cobra m谩s protagonismo. En estas condiciones, la luz deja de ser solo una herramienta t茅cnica y se convierte en el elemento principal que define la atm贸sfera de la imagen.
Us茅 una sola fuente de luz, colocada de forma que modelara el rostro y el cuerpo sin eliminar completamente las sombras. Me interesaba mantener ese equilibrio entre lo visible y lo oculto, donde la imagen respira y no lo revela todo de inmediato. Creo que esa limitaci贸n termin贸 jugando a favor del resultado, aportando una sensaci贸n m谩s 铆ntima y honesta.
Muchas veces uno piensa que necesita m谩s equipo o mejores condiciones, pero sesiones como esta me recuerdan que lo m谩s importante es saber usar lo que se tiene en el momento. La simplicidad, cuando se usa con intenci贸n, puede ser mucho m谩s poderosa que la complejidad.
