Greetings friends of this wonderful community of black and white photography lovers.
When we walk down the street we usually do not notice people, we walk like automatons without looking up, looking at the ground, counting the stones or the steps. Unless, like me, we are looking at something else. Expressions, habits, gestures, small daily rituals that reveal the humanity of those we meet. A lost look, a restrained smile, a gesture of tiredness... all that has value and beauty if you know how to look at it.
Black and white photography allows me to isolate those moments from noise and color to focus on the essential: light, shadow and emotion. I am not looking for great stories or spectacular scenes, but fragments of life that, for an instant, stop in front of my lens. Because even the ordinary, when observed with attention, becomes extraordinary.

Cuando vamos por la calle habitualmente no reparamos en las personas, vamos transitando como aut贸matas sin levantar la vista, mirando al suelo, contando las piedras o los pasos. A no ser que como yo andamos mirando algo m谩s. Las expresiones, los h谩bitos, los gestos, los peque帽os rituales cotidianos que revelan la humanidad de quienes nos cruzamos. Una mirada perdida, una sonrisa contenida, un gesto de cansancio... todo eso tiene valor y belleza si se sabe mirar.
La fotograf铆a en blanco y negro me permite aislar esos momentos del ruido y del color para enfocarme en lo esencial: la luz, la sombra y la emoci贸n. No busco grandes historias ni escenas espectaculares, sino fragmentos de vida que, por un instante, se detienen frente a mi lente. Porque incluso lo ordinario, cuando se observa con atenci贸n, se vuelve extraordinario.
