Communicating in Cuba is an odyssey / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

Hello, greetings to everyone in this beautiful community.
Today, reviewing photos that I had archived, I want to talk briefly about a topic that affects us a lot in Cuba: communication.
First I must say that it has only been about a decade since there is free Internet in Cuba. Before that, it was only available to a few workplaces and in a very regulated way. The arrival of the Internet gradually became a blessing for Cubans. Even more so in the current situation, where almost all families are divided by the brutal emigration we have experienced in the last six decades.
The thing is that, as usual, nothing stays working well for long, and it is very common to see people scanning their cell phones in a park, in the street or anywhere that offers better data coverage.
This little series is proof of that. Between power outages and lack of coverage, communicating with your relatives today is a real odyssey.
