They all gathered in the streets with drums and dresses of different colours, marching towards the centre of the carnival, Jim who was visiting the country of Venezuela was happy to see a day like this, with everyone in one accord with beautiful smiles and dances, he loves the scenes because it was so amazing for him.
He went on holiday to see his fiancee who is Venezuelan, her name was Emilia, and before he knew it, the lady he saw dancing with many styles was her, Emilia from the beginning knows that the young man standing at the entrance of the street must be Jim, her instincts could talk about that.
"Wow, the outfit looks so nice on you, Emilia" said Jim.
"Thank you Jim" she replied.
They went home and after Jim had to go shopping for his own costumes he was ready for the event, although he wasn't Venezuelan, he loves parties and decided to participate, he couldn't imagine how he would look in his own costumes, I guess it was so funny, but he was loving it.
The show begins when Emilia and Jim return to join the march to the celebration centre, Jim had taken so many pictures that served as a souvenir of this great event, he couldn't contain his smile every time he looked at Emilia, it must be because of so much love he had for her, Emilia seeing him by her side felt so much strength around her.
Their world was complete that day, they both met a long time ago and since then love has been the only thing they see in each other's eyes, Jim took off his mask and put on a new one, while Emilia was talking to her friend, as she turned back she didn't know who Jim was again, many thoughts started to flow in her mind, "where would he have gone, just at that moment she was talking to her friend next to her".
She never knew Jim was next to her, only that he had changed his masks and looked totally different, she started to look for him and Jim was following her without her noticing, the arms around her spoke of no one else but Jim, Emilia although she saw a different mask on the man's face, she could feel the touch as Jim's.
She could tell he wanted to scare her a little because he once did something like that a few times ago, When she turned around, Jim was on his knees, he took off his masks and proposed to her.
"Will you marry me, Emilia?"
Emilia pressed her hands against her mouth with such joy and said "yes".
The day became not only a carnival for the two lovers, but a remarkable day that marked a better beginning of their union, Jim happily put on the ring, a kind of gold material he bought from the oldest blacksmith in the empire of Oyo, he was a noble man so he would not want to put on his wife's finger a ring that was not made of gold.
Life became beautiful for the husband and wife, the carnival is that thing that speaks of the day of their union as husband and wife.

Todos se reunieron en las calles con tambores y vestidos de diferentes colores, marchando hacia el centro del carnaval, Jim que estaba de visita en el pa铆s de Venezuela estaba feliz de ver un d铆a as铆, con todos en un solo acuerdo con hermosas sonrisas y bailes, le encantan las escenas porque fue tan incre铆ble para 茅l.
Se fue de vacaciones a ver a su prometida que es venezolana, se llamaba Emilia, y antes de darse cuenta, la dama que vio bailando con muchos estilos era ella, Emilia desde el principio sabe que el joven parado en la entrada de la calle debe ser Jim, su instinto pod铆a hablar de eso.
"Vaya, te queda muy bien el conjunto, Emilia" dijo Jim.
"Gracias Jim" respondi贸 ella.
Se fueron a casa y despu茅s de que Jim tuvo que ir a comprar sus propios disfraces ya estaba listo para el evento, aunque no era venezolano, le encantan las fiestas y decidi贸 participar, no se imaginaba como se ver铆a con sus propios disfraces, supongo que era muy gracioso, pero le estaba encantando.
El espect谩culo comienza cuando Emilia y Jim regresan para unirse a la marcha hacia el centro de celebraci贸n, Jim hab铆a tomado tantas fotos que sirvieron de recuerdo de este gran evento, no pod铆a contener su sonrisa cada vez que miraba a Emilia, deb铆a ser por tanto amor que le ten铆a, Emilia al verlo a su lado sent铆a tanta fuerza a su alrededor.
Su mundo se complet贸 ese d铆a, ambos se conocieron hace mucho tiempo y desde entonces el amor ha sido lo 煤nico que ven en los ojos del otro, Jim se quit贸 la m谩scara y se puso una nueva, mientras Emilia hablaba con su amiga, al voltear hacia atr谩s no supo qui茅n era Jim de nuevo, muchos pensamientos comenzaron a fluir en su mente, "d贸nde se habr铆a metido, justo en ese momento estaba hablando con su amiga a su lado".
Nunca supo que Jim estaba a su lado, solo que hab铆a cambiado sus m谩scaras y luc铆a totalmente diferente, comenz贸 a buscarlo y Jim la segu铆a sin que ella se diera cuenta, los brazos que la rodeaban no hablaban de nadie m谩s que de Jim, Emilia aunque ve铆a una m谩scara diferente en el rostro del hombre, pod铆a sentir el tacto como el de Jim.
Ella pudo notar que 茅l quer铆a asustarla un poco porque una vez hizo algo as铆 hace un par de veces, Cuando ella se dio la vuelta, Jim estaba de rodillas, se quit贸 las m谩scaras y le propuso matrimonio.
"驴Quieres casarte conmigo, Emilia?"
Emilia se apret贸 las manos contra la boca con tanta alegr铆a y dijo "s铆".
El d铆a se convirti贸 no s贸lo en un carnaval para los dos enamorados, sino en un d铆a extraordinario que marc贸 un mejor comienzo de su uni贸n, Jim se puso feliz el anillo, una especie de material de oro que compr贸 al herrero m谩s antiguo del imperio de Oyo, era un hombre noble por lo que no querr铆a poner en el dedo de su esposa un anillo que no fuera de oro.
La vida se hizo hermosa para los esposos, el carnaval es aquello que habla del d铆a de su uni贸n como marido y mujer.
