I arrived at Accra Ghana in September 2009. On the first day of the trip, we were staying at a place called Central Hotel. It is located in the downtown area.
Accra is not a big city and I didn't see many high-rises here. But is could be very crowded at rush hours. Ghana is the first foreign county I have ever visited and everything was new to me at that time, the place, the people and the food. We stayed for about a month in the country, mainly in Accra but also in other provinces and regions. I did not keep a diary so I need to recollect things from my memory.
Anyway, it was my first trip abroad so I was totaly impressed by what I saw. If I had been fond of running then like I do now, I would spend more time running in the morning, to experience the city more than I should. By the way, I liked the tropical weather there and all the greeness.
