馃敹The common greenshank (Tringa nebularia)
I met this sandpiper at the intersection of two rivers. These birds inhabit swamps, dams, and rivers. Unfortunately, in our city they are rare, and I meet them only when they fly away for the winter. More than 4 birds in one place, I have not seen them.
This sandpiper wandered along the coast and small stone islands. Its long legs allow it to walk through shallow water bodies in search of various molluscs, crustaceans, and small fish.
