🦉 The spotted nutcracker, Eurasian nutcracker, or just nutcracker (Nucifraga caryocatactes)

I first met this bird in a coniferous forest far outside the city. By the way, here is an old photo of that forest.

I heard her sonorous voice somewhere deep in the forest. Her voice is similar to a typical crow, but a little different, I don’t know how to explain. I found him unpleasant. The bird flew from tree to tree, examining them.

Then she flew to the ground and began to walk there and spit pine nuts. This is one of the features of these birds. They stockpile nuts and then forget about them, or they simply do not need them. And because of this, these nuts sprout in the ground, and new trees grow.
