馃摎coelebs coelebs (lat.) - single, idle, unmarried
These guys are among the first to arrive in the spring. As soon as the spring sun begins to warm and melt the snow, you can already see the first males of these birds. They occupy territories and begin to sing their famous songs, thus marking it. And if anyone dares to invade his site, then a fight is inevitable.
Soon, after about a week, females and young males arrive. And the mating season begins. Females are laconic and make only sounds of calls. And by the way, it must be said that these birds are polygamous. Males, having fertilized one female, can mate with another. Although females are more involved in caring for nestlings, males are also involved in feeding, even if these nestlings are from another male.
