This rare species of tits appears in my city, and throughout the region, very rarely. There were times when I often met these birds, and even saw their fledglings. This was in 2018, throughout the year I observed them in various parts of the city forests and outskirts. But then these birds did not appear until the fall of last year.

But on the other hand, in the neighboring region, in the steppes, I met these birds stably every year. It was at this place with a photo, in flooded meadows outside the city.

Apparently, the bird prefers open spaces, which is not at all typical for birds of the tit family (Paridae). Otherwise, this is a typical tit, with typical behavior and nutrition for them. Easily lured to the sound, often calls the others so as not to get lost.
