En el estudio donde trabajo, una vez al mes, escogemos una niña que reside en un orfanato y que esté cerca de sus quince años, y le hacemos una sesión de fotos, algo habitual en mi país.
In the studio where I work, once a month, we choose a girl who lives in an orphanage and is about fifteen years old, and we do a photo session for her, something common in my country.
Estás muchachas no tienen posibilidades económicas y no pueden permitirse pagarse una sesión de fotos por sus quince años, que como digo es una tradición en Cuba. Este trabajo en mi estudio lo hacemos gratis, para así estimular a esas personas que no tienen esas posibilidades.
These girls do not have economic possibilities and cannot afford to pay for a photo session for their fifteen years, which as I say is a tradition in Cuba. We do this work in my studio for free, in order to stimulate those people who do not have those possibilities.
Tal es el caso de ANNALIET, una muchacha huérfana muy introvertida, que le gusta dibujar en sus tiempos libres, y le gustaría estudiar pintura en un futuro.
Such is the case of ANNALIET, a very introverted orphan girl, who likes to draw in her spare time, and she would like to study painting in the future.
Buscando que se pudiera familiarizar y sentir bien en la sesión de fotos, pues cree un ambiente en el exterior, donde había un caballete, lienzo y pinturas...creando un set donde pudiera sentirse libre, familiarizada y asi crear buenas imágenes junto a ella.
Looking for her to be able to familiarize herself and feel good in the photo session, so I created an environment outside, where there was an easel, canvas and paints...creating a set where she could feel free, familiar and thus create good images with her.
El mayor premio de este tipo de sesiones, es la felicidad de esas muchachas cuando ven sus fotos, la felicitación es doble, sabiendo que hicistes un gran trabajo, como fotógrafo y como ser humano. Espero les gusten las fotos como a nuestra querida ANNALIET, saludos desde Cuba.
