Good morning, friends of Hive! Greetings from your great friend, the painter Ramaco, who brings you a new artistic publication featuring an unexpected mystery, which I hope you enjoy.
Welcome to see my artistic creations on the Hive digital platform.
<center<Today's illustration is titled:
The Apparition of the Ships of Oblivion.
MY MATERIALS.
The materials I used this time were: watercolor, white acrylic, my watercolor brushes on FABRIANO cardstock, a Panasonic LUMIX FZ47 camera, Adobe Photoshop scanning software for digital modifications, and PowerPoint to convert the images to JPG format.
STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS.
Dear viewer, curator, and faithful follower of my artistic work, today I am going to present to you how I created the artistic work, or rather, the artistic mystery, as follows.
THE START.
The line first marks the importance of the sketch in creating a seascape, which begins to have color due to the stain and applying the watercolor with a flat-tip brush and grading the colors in the sky, as shown in the images.
Observe the variety of pigments that give color to the sky, as well as the sand that complements the atmosphere. The sand and seawater then help me with the white acrylic pigment to create the sea foam applied with a palette knife to create the desired effect.
Friends, you have to know how to work with the effects of the sea. The important thing is the gradations between the analogy of the blue and green colors in watercolors. Then, with the palette knife, you achieve the waves, their movements, and a texture shown in the illustration.
For distant details, use a No. 02 brush, with the intention of creating the distant mangroves and sea water in the illustration. creating movements with the lines of the horizon.
The appreciation of the colors we can see in this landscape slide was achieved with the pigments: orange, ultramarine blue, emerald green, apple green, white, pink, and on the seashore in the sand, and brown with ochre for the rocks and sand.
The importance of the color white applies to color degradation, but in this case, I used it because I wanted to add some clouds to the illustration, to give it some texture and effects.
I managed to capture the distance, that is, the small image visible on the horizon (third plane). This was achieved with the coconut trees and the seagulls. In the background, the sea, how far and near it can be seen, is visible. In the foreground, we have the branches, the rocks, the sand, and their shadows.
The waves of the sea were given more movement with white acrylic, and I also placed the radiant sun with its respective reflections in the water, which could not be missing in the illustration.
Ok, friends, I'm almost finished with my illustration, the madness of the illustrated mystery. At the end of a portal, it shone like the illumination of a bright sun on the waters of the sea, making two fishing boats appear in oblivion, returning with incredible force that throws them towards the shore of the beach, thus revealing the illustration titled:
The appearance of the ships of the Forgotten.
Friends of hive, in the coastal town where I grew up, stories were always told of mysterious fishing boats appearing at sea, like a horror story for children, but in a one morning while fishing, I saw them not far from the shore, and I jumped into the sea to swim with the intention of finding out the truth, but when I got closer and looked up, they were gone...
THE SIMPLE MYSTERY OF THE
APPEARANCES OF THE FISHING BOATS OF OBLIVION.
Thank you very much for your kind attention.
A hug, I love you very much.
