Weekly report - last chemo next week?

4h

Last 2 weeks have been difficult. On the 15th of september my wife had her 7th chemotherapy. While the oncologist advised to take 80% , as she feared my wife body and might could be broken on a full dosis - we decided to go for the full 100%, as we could not handle risking that the eventual ct scan shows it was just not enough to allow surgery. After a few hours it was obvious why the oncologist gave this advice as the compound effects had basicly destroyed all her strenght already. She had to go through hell the last 10 days. For me , watching powerlessly to her struggling has not been easy. While next Tuesday will be the last chemo, I really don’t know if she will be cleared to go through it one more time - but if she does get cleared I do not know if she can find it in herself to mentally face it again.

I was not able find time for myself as I had to take care of my family, but also a busy week with work and chores. I managed to run 2x 5km this week including today - and cycle 78 km (just tried to skip the car and take the bike as a way to get some movement)

My run today was pretty nice, it had been though, including this early morning but still a 30 minute break was very welcome!
