I recently came back from Iraq and I have so many pictures from my trip. When I look at these pictures I remember so many beautiful moments from that time.
Today I thought I would share some of these pictures with you. I have some pictures of the beautiful buildings and the decoration around the Ziyarat.
I also have some pictures of the food and drinks we had during our journey.
One thing that really caught my attention in Iraq was the beautiful mirror work inside the buildings. The walls and ceilings were decorated with small pieces of mirrors. When the lights fell on them everything looked so bright and beautiful.
I had seen pictures of this kind of work before but seeing it with my own eyes was a different experience. The small mirrors were placed so carefully and the whole place looked very beautiful. I took some pictures because I wanted to keep these memories with me.
I also loved looking at the buildings. There were so many beautiful details everywhere. Sometimes I would stop just to look at the walls doors ceilings and decorations. Even small details looked special.
During our journey we also got to see different places in Iraq. Every place had its own feeling and its own beauty. There was always something interesting to see around us.
Of course food is also a big part of every trip. I took some pictures of the food and drinks we had in Iraq too. We tried different things during our journey and enjoyed eating together.
Sometimes when we travel we remember the big moments but later we also remember the small things. A cup of tea a meal with family walking through the streets looking at beautiful buildings or simply sitting and talking with each other.
For me these small moments are also a part of the journey.
I really enjoyed taking pictures during this trip. At that time I was just taking pictures because I liked what I was seeing. But now when I look at them they bring back those memories again.
