I actually find it difficult to tell which one has more impact between hardwork and luck. Well, if I'm to choose one, I'm surely going to choose luck. Luck has more impact and it follows you everywhere you go. Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky. Some people need to work extra hard before they achieve whatever they want and at the same time, some people don't even need to stresd themselves. They are just being lucky. Those kind of people don't even have to stress on anything. They just do a little work and then they achieve what they have planned.
To my knowledge, I feel I'm one of those lucky people but I always make sure to work harder even though I mostly get lucky. I have been lucky in so many scenarios but I'd give you an instance where hardwork has paid me off first before telling you how I've been lucky. Well, that's because I want you to believe that if you are not a lucky person, hardwork can still pay you off. If you are not lucky, that's not the end of life.
A Story Where My Hardwork Paid Off
To those who don't know, I'm currently serving my fatherland and I work in a private organization. It is a school known as Chrisland schools and I pledged to always work hard ever since I have gotten there. Aside from the fact that, I just wanted to work hard because I was earning, I also felt that what is worth doing is worth doing welo so I gotta put my best in anything I do. I have been working hard because of that and also because I want a good reputation for myself and not even because I want them to employ me as a full staff after my service.
Recently, I got promoted at my workplace to be the assistant year tutor. This means that the year tutor and I will be the ones to guide the teachers on what to do, what subject or topic to teach and so on. I have never seen or heard it in history that a corper became an assistant year tutor but I'm glad that I got that and I was able to get that position because of my hardwork and my salary was increased too.
Let'sTalk About A Situation When I've Been Lucky
I believe that many aspiring actors or actresses have been to one audition or the other and in some cases, we don't get picked. There are even some people wfo don't get picked in most cases but they have to keep going. I was sleeping in my house one day and a friend called me and told me that there is an audition around my area that morning and it has started. I was an audition freak back then, lol. They already stopped answering people because I think they already got the person they needed but when I got there, the direcyor looked at me and said I have the stature of the cast they need so I should try to play the role and that was how I got the role by luck without even working for it. Something like this has happened to me so many times. It may be a small role but I'm glad that I got it and I'm very happy to celebrate my little win.
Well, the two experiences taught me that this life is not balance. There are some people who have been working hard to achieve something but one person will just come from somewhere and be lucky to have what those people have been wanting. It is very crazy but that's life. Also, in anything you do, just keep going. A good person will spot you for your good works.
