People only see the result of your years of labour. They do not see the hard work behind the scenes, and in the end, they feel you just got lucky. They do not know about the sleepless nights, the nights they sleep and snore while you are grinding.
I believe there is no success without hard work, and luck is something we get after we have put in some effort. You cannot do nothing and expect to be lucky.
I remember back then when I joined the Hive platform. I was not earning much, but I saw the potential and I invited my buddies because I love to carry my people along.
Some asked me how much I had earned there, and I told them, but they were not impressed with the earnings. I tried encouraging them because I really wanted them to join me on the journey, but then, not everyone saw what I was seeing. One or two joined, but many did not.
Fast forward a few years, the bull run happened and the tiny coins I gathered became something huge. Life changed, and those friends who refused to join saw the changes and became interested. Unfortunately, it was already late for them.
Now, people who do not know how things happened or what I did would feel I got lucky, but that was not just luck. It was years of hard work that paid off. Yes, it is still luck because some years of hard work can also go down the drain.

The same thing that happened during the Hive time is happening now. I am locking in on Moonwalk Fitness, and I am trying to bring in my homies. Some joined, while many do not seem interested. In a few years, if luck favours us on Moonwalk again, some of those who did not join will want to join, but then again, it will be late.
So, there is no luck without effort. When you work hard, there is a higher chance of getting lucky, and this is something many people can attest to. Some people have been favoured in their line of work. It takes some days, months, and for some, even years before luck shines on them.
I remember the story of a guy who made huge money from the first meme coin he bought when he joined crypto. The money he made was enough to retire, that is, if he used it wisely. But he is likely to feel that things are always like that online and gamble the money on more crypto.
Whereas there are OGs who have been trying so hard to hit what that guy hit but were unlucky.
That is not hard work, but luck.
So maybe it is actually possible to be lucky without hard work but effort is needed...
