Una noche en el Blue Moon/ A night at the Blue Moon (ESP/ENG)

Hola de nuevo, espero que hayan tenido un excelente fin de semana. Como siempre estoy aquí para compartir otra de mis historias con ustedes e intentar transmitirles emociones similares a las que tuve en aquél momento.

Hello again, I hope you had a great weekend. As always, I am here to share another of my stories with you and try to convey similar emotions to the ones I had at that moment.

Era una tarde hermosa, hacía calor pero de vez en cuando se arrimaba una brisa a acariciar nuestros rostros. Mi novia @yhanningliw y yo íbamos por una entrecalle del vedado bajando hacia el Resto-Bar Blue Moon. Ella estaba nerviosa y yo estaba ancioso por ella, no era una tarde como cualquier otra, era la tarde en que mi novia debutaría cantando en ese bar gracias a la invitación del Duo Vida y en especial de @rikardonaranjo quienes tenían alli como en otros lugares en la Habana, una peña habitual. Finalmente llegamos al lugar luego de un buen tramo caminando.

It was a beautiful afternoon, it was hot but from time to time a breeze came to caress our faces. My girlfriend @yhanningliw and I were walking along a side street in the private area going down towards the Resto-Bar Blue Moon. She was nervous and I was anxious for her, it was not an afternoon like any other, it was the afternoon when my girlfriend would debut singing in that bar thanks to the invitation of Duo Vida and especially from @rikardonaranjo who had there, as in other places in Havana, a regular group. We finally arrived at the place after a long stretch of walking.

Ya quedaba menos para empezar la tertulia. Además de mi novia, ese día también nos acompañaban otros aficionados, quienes estaban esparcidos por los rincones del portal del bar tarareando trozos de canciones, canciones que luego interpretarían, para las personas que asistieran al bar ese día. La tarde se fue convirtiendo en noche y ya todo estaba listo, pero antes de que comenzaran a sonar las guitarras y las voces, decidí inmortalizar al grupo de aficionados con unas fotos.

There was less left to start the gathering. In addition to my girlfriend, that day we were also accompanied by other fans, who were scattered in the corners of the bar's portal humming fragments of songs, songs that they would later perform, for the people who attended the bar that day. The afternoon turned into night and everything was ready, but before the guitars and voices began to play, I decided to immortalize the group of fans with some photos.

Se dio la señal de comenzar con la tertulia cuando @rikardonaranjo tocó el primer acorde en su guitarra, sería el Dúo Vida quienes abrirían la noche cantando canciones de su autoría y otras canciones cuidadosa mente escogidas en una selección hermosa que han tomado prestada de otros cantantes.

The signal was given to begin the gathering when @rikardonaranjo played the first chord on his guitar, it would be the Dúo Vida who would open the night singing songs of their own and other songs carefully chosen in a beautiful selection that they have borrowed from other singers .

La noche se había vuelto muy amena y llena de melodías, de esas que enriquecen el alma y estimulan los oídos, pero, ya faltaba menos para que fuera el turno de mi novia. La animaba diciendo q todo saldría bien, pero supongo que la tensión recorría cada centímetro de su cuerpo, yo por mi parte esaba tranquilo, sabía q todo saldría bien.

The night had become very pleasant and full of melodies, the kind that enrich the soul and stimulate the ears, but it was almost time for it to be my girlfriend's turn. She encouraged her by saying that everything would turn out well, but I guess the tension ran through every centimeter of her body. I, for my part, was calm, I knew that everything would turn out well.

Luego de algunas canciones al fin, al fin ya era el turno de mi Hada Chalada. Ella seguía tensa pero logró concentrarse, respiró hondo y comenzó a cantar, con su voz, esa voz angelical con ese toque melancólico. "Salías de un templo un día llorona, cuando al pasar yo te vi", si, es una hermosa canción, "La Llorona" que ha sido cantada por tantos y aún así mi novia logra darle un toque especial y distinto con su hermoso color de voz.

After a few songs, it was finally my Chalada Fairy's turn. She was still tense but managed to concentrate, took a deep breath and began to sing, with her voice, that angelic voice with that melancholic touch. "You were leaving a temple one day crying, when I saw you as I passed by", yes, it is a beautiful song, "La Llorona" that has been sung by so many and yet my girlfriend manages to give it a special and different touch with her beautiful color of voice.

Como ya lo esperaba todo salió bien y aunque ella estaba aún en shock yo estaba orgulloso, lo había hecho, había logrado superar ese miedo de cantar delante de tantas personas. La noche siguió dando regalos con las voces de todos los que cantaron ese día, una noche simplemente Bella.

As expected, everything went well and although she was still in shock I was proud, she had done it, she had managed to overcome that fear of singing in front of so many people. The night continued giving gifts with the voices of all those who sang that day, a simply Beautiful night.

Algunas de las amistades en común de mi novia y mías vinieron desde lejos a escucharla cantar, contaba con todo nuestro apoyo y todo salió como lo suponíamos, la noche fue un éxito, una victoria para ella y yo como siempre feliz por sus logros .

Some of my girlfriend and mine's mutual friends came from afar to hear her sing, she had all our support and everything went as we expected, the night was a success, a victory for her and I, as always, happy for her achievements.

En fin, otra noche inolvidable, llena de buenas vibras y hermosos recuerdos. Por hoy me despido, nos volveremos a encontrar pronto por los rincones de esta comunidad. Soy Rafa Sanz, un fuerte abrazo para todos.
