I had not planned on posting today until I checked my numbers when I finished up for the day. My new goal was set on fitbit as 13,000 steps. I got going today and kept at it with minimal breaks.
I started my day doing a couple loads of laundry, and then started getting things ready to mow some of the lawn and rototil parts of my garden areas. Then a friend sent me a text saying he had a pickup load of wood for me. We had to unload it manually.
Once that was finished I moved into cutting part of the lawn until the belt on lawnmower broke...i had a spare belt and got it replaced and then rototilled 2 parts of my garden. My garden is quite large and I have cut back on how much I garden in last couple of years.
From there I stacked some firewood . I have 3 good size piles of wood to work on. I finished up my outdoor activity with watering plants in greenhouse and feeding and watering my chickens.
When I got back indoors my wife was laying down so I had to start on more household chores.
All in all I feel pretty good for the amount of activity. I guess it is time to raise my goals. I know my outdoor activity will continue to increase now that I need to start planting garden, and keep putting up firewood for next winter.
That is a good outline of the days activity. Hope to keep this going for the summer, and looking at plans to stay more active come winter. Hoping I can maintain as much activity for a long time. Being 66 years old is not an issue. If I keep this up I believe I can keep active well into my 80's. ๐
I try not to post my actifit activity too often because with my regular posts I reply to comments and upvote them. I do not always have the voting power to upvote all comments on Actifit Posts. But, I appreciate all the comments I receive.
