My post goes for #AlphabetHunt challenge by @barbara-orenya. This week we had to find words starting with letter "U". It didnt became a problem to find my six tropheys, especially having ubiquitous umbrellas all around. This week turned out to be a special, cause Barbara has a birthday.** Happy, Happy Birthday to you,** my dear friend! I wish a lot of sunshine, flowers and snails always surround you (sorry that none of these things is starting from U).
Unicorn is one of the 1st things that come to my mind on U-demand. Pretty strange, isnt it? Unlike the dinosaur, I have lots of unicorn pictures -- due to the fact that a lot of other folks share my love to those mythical creatures. I have in my archive this photo of unicorn, the greatest of them all. Unfortunately, its not my work but I could not stand the Temptation to share it with you, my friends. This is a work of contemporary St.Petersburg photographer Mikhail Burlatsky.
I found this funny pic of used candies in my archive.
The last photo of a used mask has another intresting word in it: 'Ubiquitous'. Used masks today is really well-spread and ubiquitous shit on the streets... I do not use it as my active vocabulary.
A simple word that can go well with so many different intresting things! I choose this useless bicycle. It cant ride anywhere, one cant even sit on it. It is suitable for nothing!
A graffity I noticed on the streets of St.Petersburg. I have a suspicion nobody can have the same entry this week, well, the chances are below zero ;)
Just a random encounter on the street brought me to this entry. I use different tactics of wordhunting, one of them is just looking around at the streets, and catching all that passes by close to me enought. Well, since I am using 150mm telephoto most of the time...
PS. Same with UK boy graffity.
In Russian these mushrooms are named 'Gruzd'. I really dont know why they got such a strange name as 'Ugly milkcap'. Well, I understand the 'milkcap' part, but why 'ugly'?.. no idea. Those mushrooms love to hide in the soil, they are real pro at playing hide-and-seek with Setero.
And of course umbrellas! This time first thing goes in the last row... or better say, no go at all: I decided to omit them from my hunt, although I managed to accumulate a half-dozen of umbrellas since the challenge have started: it is no exclusive stuff at all
:)
All the images taken by me, as always (except one). See you next time with letter 'V'
