The Egyptian Geese is native to Northern Africa; south of the Sahara and the Nile Valley.
Ancient Egyptians considered these geese as sacred. They appear in a lot of artwork from the ancient Egyptians"

"Three years ago my sister and I decided to walk the last 118 kilometres of the Camino de Santiago. The Camino or The Path is known as a pilgrimage that starts in the hills of France, makes its way through the Pyrenees Mountains, the various ranges and foothills of Northern Spain and finishing in Santiago de Compostela. The full pilgrimage could take anything from a month to 3 months depending on your route and pace but we stuck to the traditional French route and did the last stretch in order to qualify for our compostela, which is a certificate of completion which you receive in Santiago. But I’ll cover that in future blogs"
