Hello everyone and welcome to this week hive Ghana weekly activities.I am quin.lizzy and today I would be writing about the topic "digital vs face to face".
This topic is really interesting cause when you look closely you get to know that the both side is important for efficiency in our everyday day life,even though we spend more time on our screen cause of how the world has become technological,the both have their characteristics but before I continue I would like to define some key terms
Digital has to do with using technology to explore opportunities in our everyday life.
Face to face implies physical contact and being present physically.
I have experiences with all the side of the topic since I can't go a day without communicating with friends and family both physically and digitally.
Educationally: digitalization has really helped me big time in my quest to study,from collecting information about lecture updates and writing test and exams online which has aid big time to reduce cost and stress in going from one lecture hall to another under harsh condition and has made it easy for lecturers cause the don't have to be in person to impact knowledge,using gadgets such as phone and laptops.
keeping in touch with long distance relationships,especially now that am in school technology has made it easy for me to be able to contact friends and family and catch up with them whenever need arises.Using the online platform I really spend more time there cause I chat so much with my friends and close ones and keeping in touch is key to me.
This digital means has helped in meeting new people,for example I have an online friend that I have been chatting with more than a year now all cause she of the digital world,new platform to interact like the hive blockchain which offer new opportunities to grow oneself.But I would still say face to face interaction is the best cause I get to express the way i truly feel.
Physical meeting is indeed always vital even though the digital world has made things easier,I will say I do better physically and it matter the most,when you meet people in person you get to truly know the real personality and connect better.
Theirs some of my friends that I don't do more of chatting online but when we meet the love is always massive and we connect better.
Face to face has its own beauty and personally to me I think I connect more physically than digitally when it comes to discussion even though I also do well in an online platform,but I would say meeting and spending time with people in person offer more connection and has this warmth that always comes with it.I prefer staying around my love ones and making happy memories than just chatting online and video calling.
Even as the system of the world is we spend more time with our phone but that one moment you share with your friends and family will go a long way.
