Ojalá que de aquí a que termine el año la vida nos apapache el corazón, y de pronto nos pasen todas esas cosas que hemos estado esperando, que el amor vuelva a tocar la puerta, que lo que duele vaya sanando, que soltemos todo eso que no tuvo miedo de soltarnos y nos quedemos solamente con lo que quiere quedarse con nosotros. Y ojalá que también no se nos olvide agradecer por lo que tenemos, por las personas que nos quieren, por los nuevos comienzos y por todo eso bonito que el universo nos manda, ya sabes, las canciones, los atardeceres, los poemas y esos pequeños detalles siempre están aunque a veces los malos momentos no nos dejan verlos. Ojalá que de aquí a que termine el año sean días buenos, semanas llenas de tranquilidad y meses que nos hagan sentir que lo mejor apenas está por pasarle al corazón.

Here’s hoping that between now and the end of the year, life will warm our hearts, and suddenly all those things we’ve been waiting for will happen—that love will knock on our door again, that what hurts will begin to heal, that we’ll let go of everything that wasn’t afraid to let us go, and that we’ll keep only what wants to stay with us. And let’s also hope we don’t forget to be grateful for what we have, for the people who love us, for new beginnings, and for all the beautiful things the universe sends our way—you know, the songs, the sunsets, the poems, and those little details that are always there, even if the hard times sometimes keep us from seeing them. Hopefully, from now until the end of the year, there will be good days, weeks filled with peace, and months that make us feel that the best is yet to come for our hearts.
