**** Above is a cute little coffee bean tree kept indoors. This baby is still going to grow more and more in time.***
Mother nature is a fierce queen, with the ability to wipe put entire an species and disintegrate all of humanity, however she is the most beautiful and merciful of us all. Our entire existence is in her hands and for that we adore her, we embrace her and we succumb to her. Hello everyone! I am happy to be joining a new community and make friends as well as meet new people here. Lets talk about plants.
I am a plant mom and I have several babies that I take care of. So, due to me having to work a 9-5 corporate job, Monday to Friday, I have acquired easily maintainable plants. I take care of plants that will survive well enough without me having to check on them 24/7. Did you know that talking to your flowers will help them to grow? This is a saying I have heard numerous times growing up thus, I speak to my plants and this is because like us they too have feelings. They are dependent on us and when we do not provide them with the adequate love and nurturing, they turn inward and slowly die. I do not have a favorite plant or flower in particular because I literally love all of them, I am a nature fanatic so I hope that provides enough of an explanation. Here are some visuals of the plants that I take care of at home:
Above are a few of my plant babies. These are called succulents (CACTUS AND ALOE VERA and their natural habitat is the driest of places with warm climates or desserts. These are where they thrive at their full independent potential) and are easily manageable. They need an appropriate amount of sunlight and they should be watered only only once or twice a week as these plants thrive and grow well enough on their own strength. I have had these plants for about one and a half years now and soon I will be ready to transfer them into bigger pots. From there on I will eventually plant them directly into the soil as I already have a vegetable garden with crops as I enjoy planting things. Plants are like your offspring that is why I refer to them as plant babies because they literally relying on us for their survival.
The above plant is called a Bonsai Ficus Ginseng plant. These babies are very popular and well renowned due to their green beauty and their rapid growth rate. They perform quite well in most climates but they will not last long in an extremely hot and heavily humid environment with too much direct sunlight. They require sunlight every day for a few hours and they require a small amount of water every day, and or, sometimes every 2 days. I recall that there are times when I have forgotten to water my Bonsai Ficus Ginseng for days at a time due to me being overly busy with life and work, and it still survived. This is because they are capable of lasting long and they are strong and durable plants I am serious I mean these trees can literally live up to 200 and even 300 years old! That is just so amazing. Over exposure to toxic air, air tight rooms with no fresh air flow, lack of sunlight and lack of adequate water supply WILL kill this precious plant.
*Your eyes, bright in resemblance of volcanic lava, and still sweet like honey
Your words, harsh and bold, and still make me come to my knees
Your hands dangerously stronger than mine, and still gentle on me only.
Your scent is pure and and fleshy, and still I crave your presence every single day.
Your skin is hard and rough, but still I long for your caressing
Your face is covered in sweat and tears, and still the most mesmerizing of them all
Your mouth is arrogant and oblivious, and still provides assurance
Your body is big and tough, your soul gentle and considerate for me only.
Only you know how to treat me like the delicate flower that I am
Short poem by Taigen. S
The above flower is a wild white rose bush. I received this as a Valentines day gift this year and it is growing perfectly and so fast too! They are very easy to maintain as these are wild and I am sure that in a couple months or so, this bush will be vibrant and thick as these trees tend to grow quick and beautifully.
