Crumbed Chicken Burger
Hello everyone. It is a Tuesday and I am not really looking forward to the seemingly long and draining week ahead of me so, to alleviate this, I decided to go to the local coffee shop in Florida for lunch and try out their crumbed chicken burger, with a steamy hot cappuccino to go with it. The weather is also really lifting my spirits as it is bright and blue today just the perfect weather for some good food.
My meal came with a side of golden-crispy fries and all ingredients where freshly served. Chicken patties are always my first preference over any other types of patties, unless of course I decide to make mince patties at home with my own choice of ingredients added for a distinct acquired taste for me or for whomever I serve. As expected, my meal was delicious and it came with a crisp baked bun and fresh green lettuce along with a slice of tomato and a slice of cheddar cheese. I tasted the chili sauce in it as well- not too hot though but with a mild sting, very enjoyable so. From my first bite, the crunchiness and freshness of the burger as a whole was exceptional. I am a fan of battered deep fried foods like crumbed mushrooms, nuggets, fish fillets, chicken wings and more. It is all these unhealthy foods that just taste soooo good and addicting for me. Everything was seasoned appropriately and I loved the simplicity about it. I would love to eat this meal again and again. I began to browse the menu and I came across a few other light lunch and breakfast meals that I would definitely be sure to try out some time. This coffee shop in particular offers customers a total of 20 different coffee drinks. They also offer thick shakes and teas. This is all part of the separate drink’s menu.
I for one am not a major coffee drinker, however I do enjoy their frappes and today I tasted a wonderful cappuccino of theirs. I picked up an amazing aromatic coffee flavour that left a yummy satisfying after taste in my mouth. It was perfectly served and hot enough for me to drink, creamy and rich and I totally enjoyed every sip. Another one of my favourites is their thick chocolate shakes. I mostly drop by at the shop for a milkshake on the go and my family really love coming here as well whether it be for a hot beverage, or a light brunch. This experience today in particular has inspired me to make some home-made patties of my own this weekend, just for the fun of it and I would also like to make a similar type of chilli sauce to lather over my buns. This Sunday I will be putting all these ideas together and create something crisp and tasty
Fresh ingredients are very important and it plays a major impact on the taste and standard of the food that you will be serving. I mostly use fresh vegetables and in doing so, we have started planting our own crops in our backyard, so there will be plenty of fresh ingredients like pumpkin, spinach, tomato, potatoes, fresh mint and chilli’s! And that’s just the start as we soon plan on growing many more crops of our own because in the long run it will be cost effective and we will be having easy quick access to the veggies. If you have a yard (it need not be big it can be small too) I recommend that you start growing your very own veggies too! It is a simple process, just dig up the portion of the ground that you would like to utilise for the plant growth. The plant Seeds are easily found at stores and nurseries and you can grab whatever you prefer and plan on growing. Plant them precisely with a good amount of space between them so that they can grow nicely. When cooking, we often tend to dispose the remains of the veggies (carrot peels, potato peals etc). Instead, throw them over the plant soil and it will sink into the ground and boost plant growth organically. And lastly and most importantly, make sure that you water the soil sufficiently as like all other living things, plants also need water to grow and thrive.
What a wonderful feeling it is to be filled up with hot food and get the rest of the day going. I had a fun exciting day and now it is time to get back to work and back on par with my deadlines this week. I appreciate those who have read this far and I hope you enjoyed my review and also I hope that you will take my advice in regards to a home veggie garden. Thanks guys.
