En vida corporal habitó la belleza.
A pincelada griega el perfil riguroso.
No de llamas, si brasa la mirada y reposo de tinieblas: gran pausa la cabellera espesa.
En vida espiritual dispuso su entereza
lentos cauces de luz, sin premura ni acoso.
Núcleo de su silencio el verbo con esbozo
de figura vital para siempre en justeza.

ATTRACTIVE
In bodily life beauty dwelt.
A Greek brushwork the rigorous profile.
Not of flames, if the gaze burns and the darkness rests: great pause in thick hair.
In spiritual life, he arranged his integrity slow channels of light, without haste or harassment.
Core of his silence the verb with the outline of a vital figure forever in righteousness.
