Dedicating myself to ART has allowed me to diversify my creative skills, and if there's one thing I've learned since I started studying art history, it's that the artists who have transcended throughout history are masters in different disciplines at the same time. They haven't limited themselves to just practicing one technique; they set aside indifference and began to guide their paths, driven by curiosity that allows them to experience new creative adventures every day. The greatest example of this is Leonardo Da Vinci. Dedicarme al ARTE ha permitido diversificar mis habilidades creativas, y si algo he aprendido desde que estudio la historia del arte, es que los artistas que han trascendió a lo largo de la historia, son maestros en diferentes diciplinas a la vez, no se han limitado a quedarse solo practicando una técnica, dejaron a un lado la indiferencia y comenzaron a guiar sus caminos conducidos por la curiosidad que les permite cada día experimentar nuevas aventuras creativas; el mayor referente es Leonardo Davinci.
I also didn't want to confine myself to a single artistic technique, so I decided to diversify my skills. That's why I explore the field of visual and plastic arts, letting my curiosity guide me to try new creative techniques that enrich my artistic language. Among these different techniques I've been practicing, there's one in particular I'm focusing on a bit more, and that's the art of tattooing. Yo tampoco me quise encasillar en una sola técnica artística, sino que decidí diversificar mis habilidades y por eso me paseo dentro del área de las artes plásticas y visuales dejando que la curiosidad me permita probar nuevas técnicas creativas que me vayan nutriendo el lenguaje plástico. Entre esas técnicas diferentes que he estado practicando, hay una en específico en la que me estoy enfocando un poco más, y es el arte del tatuaje.
Today I'm here to share my latest body art project. This is the tenth tattoo I've done since I decided to seriously embark on this adventure called "Being a professional tattoo artist." The last three tattoos I've done, including this one, were for my university friends, which allowed me to choose designs that would help me improve my skills. Hoy les he venido a compartir mi más reciente proyecto de arte corporal, se trata del décimo tatuaje que realizo desde que decidí incursionar seriamente en esta aventura llamada "Ser tatuador profesional". Los últimos tres tatuajes que he realizado contando este se los he realizado a mis amigos de la universidad, así he podido decidir yo los diseños que me permitan mejorar mis habilidades.
Today's victim is my friend Sol. While chatting with her to come up with a proposal that suited her spiritual and esoteric personality, I remembered an illustration I'd seen online. It's by an artist named John Gagne, and it's titled "Star Catcher." I suggested it to her, and she agreed. Of course, I tried to simplify the design a bit so I could adapt it for a tattoo. La victima de hoy es mi amiga Sol, conversando con ella para idear una propuesta acorde con su personalidad toda espiritual y esotérica, recordé una ilustración que había visto en internet, es de un artista llamado John Gagne y la ilustración se titula "star catcher", se la propuse y ella acepto. Claro intente hacer un diseño un poco más simplificado para poder adaptarlo a un tatuaje.
My love for art truly grows stronger every day, and I'm happy with how I've been progressing in the world of tattoo art. For my tenth tattoo, I think it's presentable.
