Greetings to all Hive users and SWC athletes! I hope you are doing very well and continue with the spirit and discipline to carry out your training. On this occasion, I want to share a session fully focused on pushing strength, working the planche on mini parallettes to seek the greatest efficiency in every second of tension.
Dear readers, there are days when the focus is so high that the absolute priority is to make the most of every minute of the day. As soon as I arrived at the park I didn't waste any time, I briefly greeted my friends and went to look for the mini parallettes to do my planche routine of the day. Using this equipment allows for better force transfer and a much more solid grip, something fundamental when looking to sustain postures of high technical demand.
The routine was designed to work both dynamic strength and isometric endurance. During the session, I performed straddle planche presses, straddle planche holds, advanced tucked planche holds, and one leg planche holds. Presses are excellent for strengthening the shoulders throughout the range of motion, while the hold variations allowed me to accumulate time under tension without sacrificing posture. In each repetition, I made sure the elbow lockout was total and the scapular protraction remained firm.
At all times, I was focused on performing the best possible technique in each exercise, taking care that the hips did not drop and that the body line was as aesthetic as possible. Training in this way, with clear goals and without distractions, is what allows progress to be real and constant. I leave the park with the satisfaction of having given my maximum effort, knowing that every hold counts toward achieving mastery in such a complex static.
Without anything more to add, I bid farewell. Stay tuned for future posts! Until next time!
