More Sky Pictures
I was walking down one of the downtown avenues today just as the late afternoon was starting to settle in. I decided to take a few photos. The sky still looked very bright; it wasn't exactly a full sunset yet, but the view was still worth appreciating. There is a certain clarity in the air right before the sun dips lower that gives everything a sharp, clean look.
Still, seeing such a clear, bright sky made me miss the darker sunsets, the ones that are much closer to nightfall. Those deep oranges and purples that completely change the atmosphere of the city. I know I have uploaded a lot of those kinds of photos here, but I just want to keep doing it because they are simply my favorites. There is something about the fading light that always catches my attention.
However, let's take these current photos as a sort of break and something a bit different. It is good to step out of your usual routine and appreciate a different kind of light. Even if it is not my preferred time to shoot, the city still has its own charm under this bright, early evening sky.

En esta oportunidad me encontraba transitando por una avenida del centro de la ciudad. Justo estaba comenzando a caer la tarde y decid铆 tomar unas fotos. El cielo a煤n se ve铆a muy claro; no era precisamente un ocaso, pero aun as铆 la vista era digna de ser apreciada. Hay una cierta claridad en el ambiente justo antes de que el sol baje m谩s, lo cual le da a todo un aspecto muy n铆tido.
Igual, ver un cielo tan claro me hizo extra帽ar las puestas de sol m谩s oscuras, esas que est谩n m谩s cercanas a la noche. Esos tonos naranjas y p煤rpuras profundos que cambian por completo la atm贸sfera de la ciudad. S茅 que ya he subido un mont贸n de ese tipo de fotos por este medio, pero simplemente quiero seguir haci茅ndolo porque son mis favoritas. Hay algo en esa luz que se apaga que siempre capta mi atenci贸n.
Pero tomemos estas fotos como una especie de descanso y algo distinto. Es bueno salir un poco de la rutina visual y apreciar un tipo de luz diferente. Aunque no sea mi momento preferido para fotografiar, la ciudad sigue teniendo su propio encanto bajo este cielo claro de inicio de atardecer.
