Hello Hive Gamers! Today I bring you the ninth chapter of my campaign in Great Conqueror 2: Shogun. Continuing right where we left off in the critical surprise attack at Okehazama, I managed to finish constructing my first defensive watchtower, which has proven quite handy for raining down shots on the enemy units prowling around my northern castle.

I still have several units of infantry, cavalry, and archers left to hold the line against the relentless Imagawa clan. Interestingly, I also have a lone infantry unit positioned way down south right near the enemy general; it serves as a wonderful decoy to distract a chunk of their advancing forces. Even so, the surprise attack counter-offensive is not quite ready yet, which means I cannot capture the enemy castle just yet.

Taking a closer look at the enemy leadership deployed down south, I noticed that the grand leader of the Imagawa clan himself, Imagawa Yoshimoto, is stationed inside the fortress commanding a massive contingent of archers. Right outside the stronghold stands another rival general leading elite katana samurai troops: Sakuma Nobumori. These veteran generals grant massive combat buffs and stat boosts to their surrounding troops, meaning I am going to have to proceed with extreme caution once the surprise attack finally kicks off. I just hope that order comes down soon, because my garrison at the northern castle is already taking quite a beating and suffering considerable casualties!

¡Hola Gamers de Hive! Hoy les traigo el noveno capítulo de mi campaña en Great Conqueror 2: Shogun. Continuando con el ataque sorpresa en Okehazama, acabo de terminar de construir una torreta defensiva, la cual me está permitiendo disparar de forma automática contra las unidades enemigas que rondan mi castillo al norte.

Todavía conservo varias unidades de infantería, caballería y arqueros para hacer frente al avance del clan Imagawa. Curiosamente, dejé una unidad de infantería aislada al sur —cerca de donde se encuentra el general enemigo—, lo cual me está sirviendo perfectamente para distraer parte de las tropas rivales. Sin embargo, el ataque sorpresa principal aún no está listo, por lo que todavía no puedo tomar la iniciativa para capturar el castillo enemigo.

Me detuve un momento a detallar a los generales enemigos posicionados al sur. Dentro del castillo yace al mando de un gran contingente de arqueros el mismísimo líder del clan Imagawa: Imagawa Yoshimoto. Justo afuera de la fortaleza está el otro general enemigo al mando de tropas de samuráis de élite con katana: Sakuma Nobumori. Estos generales otorgan un beneficio táctico enorme a sus tropas, por lo que tendré que proceder con pies de plomo en cuanto comience el contraataque. ¡Espero que la orden llegue pronto, porque ya estoy sufriendo bajas considerables en mis unidades apostadas en el castillo al norte!
