Greetings to all Hive users and SWC athletes! I hope you are feeling great, on this occasion I will share with you a couple of pictures I managed to capture in the middle of my straddle planche workout during the afternoon, hope you like them!

The afternoon sun was still beating down hard as I warmed up in the park. Today it was time to try the straddle planche. I've been working on strength and technique for weeks now, and while I know I still have a long way to go, I wanted to see how I felt today.

My friend and student Dulce arrived just as I was finishing the mobility exercises. I asked her to come with me to take some pictures so I could analyze my posture afterwards. She always supports me with my workouts.

I started with the progressions: tuck planche, then advanced tuck. I felt my core a little tight and the pressure on my shoulders. It was time to give it a try. I got into the starting position, hands firmly on the floor. I raised my bent legs and then slowly extended them out to the sides, trying to keep my body as horizontal as possible.
I didn't hold for long, maybe a couple of seconds, before my body gave way and went back down. I tried several more times, with similar results. Each time I felt the position a little more, the tension in the right muscles.

My student encouraged me and showed me the pictures. I saw that in some of the photos my technique was optimal. Although it was not perfect, I felt satisfied with the effort. I know that with perseverance and dedication, someday I will be able to keep that straddle planche for longer.

With nothing more to add I say goodbye, stay tuned for the next post, see you next time!
