City by Night
Tonight, I found myself moving through different points of the city, and carrying my camera along felt like the right choice to capture the rhythm of the evening. I started at the bus station, a place filled with constant movement, transient lights, and a distinct kind of nocturnal energy where people come and go without stopping. There is a certain quiet poetry in terminals at night, beneath the fluorescent glow and long shadows.
From there, I hopped onto a bus and looked out through the windows. Capturing the street as it blurred by in motion offered a completely different perspective of the urban landscape. The city lights streak past, distorted by the glass, turning ordinary storefronts and street corners into abstract splashes of color against the dark backdrop of the night. It is a way of seeing the city while remaining detached from it, just a passenger watching the world slide by.
Later, I stopped at an overpass to look down at the highway. Below, the vehicles moved in endless streams of red and white light, tracing the asphalt under a sky where the sun was finishing its descent, hiding away between the clouds. That brief transition between day and night over the flowing traffic created a striking contrast. Even on nights when fatigue sets in, the city always offers something worth framing through the lens.

Esta noche me encontr茅 movi茅ndome por distintos puntos de la ciudad, y llevar la c谩mara conmigo se sinti贸 como la decisi贸n acertada para capturar el ritmo del atardecer y la noche. Comenc茅 en la central de autobuses, un lugar lleno de movimiento constante, luces artificiales y una energ铆a nocturna muy particular, donde la gente va y viene sin detenerse. Hay cierta poes铆a silenciosa en las terminales por la noche, bajo el brillo fluorescente y las sombras alargadas.
De ah铆 tom茅 un autob煤s y, desde la ventana, me puse a observar la calle. Capturar la ciudad en movimiento a trav茅s del vidrio ofrece una perspectiva completamente diferente del entorno urbano. Las luces de las calles se estiran y se difuminan, convirtiendo los locales y las esquinas comunes en manchas de color contra el fondo oscuro de la noche. Es una forma de ver la ciudad sinti茅ndome apartado de ella, siendo solo un pasajero que observa el mundo deslizarse.
M谩s tarde, me detuve en un paso elevado para mirar hacia la autopista. Abajo, los veh铆culos formaban flujos interminables de luces, dibujando el camino bajo un cielo donde el sol terminaba de ocultarse entre las nubes. Esa breve transici贸n entre el d铆a y la noche sobre el tr谩fico en movimiento cre贸 un contraste impactante. Incluso en los d铆as donde el cansancio pesa un poco m谩s, la ciudad siempre tiene algo digno de ser retratado.
