I am not a big fan of pizza because of cheese but I eat pizza occasionally. In Ukraine, pizza shops are available everywhere in fact you will find different types of pizza. Before coming here, I had no idea about the huge variety of pizza. The first time when I tried Hawaiian flavored pizza, I didn't like it because of pineapple. I really don't like the combination of pineapple and chicken. Later I tried different types of flavored pizza except for pepperoni pizza because of pork. I don't eat pork that's why always avoid pork topping.
Anyway, today I was craving for pizza so I went to the nearest superstore called Silpo. There are many other small pizza shops around but because of pork, I don't go everywhere. Moreover, most of the pizzas are made of pork topping here except margarita and Hawaiian pizza.
Silpo is a large superstore and they have a small section where they sell handmade pizza at a very reasonable price.
The price of each pizza is almost 2.5$, medium size with chicken. They provide chicken pizza mostly and they also provide smoke bbq chicken pizza as well.
This is their small pantry and display area where you can choose your desire toppings and order pizza. Anyway, black olives were not available but pickles were available.
This is the area where they make pizza. There is a dough machine and over for pizza baking. I guess it is called baking though I don't have much knowledge about it.
Only one person was working in the pizza section. Less crowd was available so I had to wait for 15 minutes only for my desire pizza.
Meanwhile, I decided to capture the overall process of pizza, what she was doing, how she was preparing the pizza.
I have ordered BBQ pizza with smoked chicken, chicken sausages, mushrooms, onions, cheese, and tomato with BBQ sauce. Very simple, thin layered-crust with 6 slices, perfect for one person.
Anyway, the taste of the pizza was okay, not too delicious but can be eaten. If you ask me how many marks I want to give out of 10, I will give 7/10. As I have mentioned that not all shops are appropriate for me, so I choose this one where I understand the language as well as easy to explain what exactly I want.
Most of the shops don't understand what I try to say and ended up buying something wrong. I can order pizza online but I wanted to taste pizza from a regular superstore...
