It is said that too much of everything is bad, and that includes the food that we eat.

Health-wise, too much sugar is not good, and not having it in the body at all can also be dangerous, which means we can't take too much and we must have it in the body at the same time.

This sounds like a punishment to me whenever I hear someone complaining about their sugar level or talking about how they don't have sugar in their body.

Every one of us is aware that almost all the food we eat contains sugar, and every result of it is also sugar, so that makes me wonder why some people still take sugar as something they can't do without, which I am not excluded.

To me, there is nothing that can replace sugar; it is either sugar or nothing else, so I wouldn't lie that I can't replace sugar with anything.

I love sugar so much, and there are some foods I can't eat without sugar, not because they are not sweet but because I don't really like them, so I can't eat them without adding sugar. I know some people would be wondering what kind of food that is, but I won't mention it.

Since most of our food's result is sugar, I tried my best to regulate my sugar level so that I wouldn't have issues later in the future. I don't like anything bitter, but for the sake of reducing sugar levels in my body, I learned how to make a bitterleaf soup from my mother-in-law.

The only method I use to reduce the sugar in my body and to make sure I don't overtake sugar is by eating bitterleaf soup at least once a week.

If there is no sugar in some certain drinks, that means it is not for me, except if it is smoothies or fresh fruit juice. Aside from that, I can't do without sugar.

One of my elder sisters loves taking sugar a lot—not just sugar but anything that has to do with sweets—she can't do without it in a day; she got pregnant, and her craving for sweets doubled.

She practically drank Pepsi every day from the moment she got pregnant until she was put to bed. Some weeks before she was put to bed, her legs and hands started swollen, which we can't predict anything for her because of the baby.

After she delivered the baby, she called and said that she couldn't walk because of her swollen legs. I am not a doctor, and I don't know what could be wrong, but I remembered that I read online that once there is too much sugar in someone's body system, it could cause the body to swell.

I got to their house and helped her to pluck some bitterleaf that was planted by one of her neighbors, then wash and sieve the water for her to drink.

It was very bitter, but it worked efficiently. After some hours, she started purging, and I got scared because it doesn't work to that extent in my body whenever I use it.

When it was in the evening, she felt good, and her body started coming back to normal; she couldn't believe that such great medicine was in her compound. Ever since then, she has started using bitterleaf to wash too much sugar in her body system as well.

I can't remember the last time I battled with pile ever since my mother-in-law taught me how to reduce my sugar level with bitterleaf.

Bitterleaf is a very simple medicine that works more than anyone can ever imagine.
