The other day, I was watching a video of a guy interviewing people who traveled over to come watch the World Cup tournament. He first of all asked them how much they spent to be there, to which the majority of them replied with 100 thousand dollars plus, and then he proceeded to ask them what they did for a living.
The money they spent wasn't what caught my attention, but it was the fact that the majority of them answered the second question by saying that “their families own this company or this business.” I remember pausing that video for a while and just asking myself how it would feel to be able to start a sentence with “My family owns...” when being asked about what I do for a living.
Life is hard, and it is ten times harder when you come from a poor background and a hundred times harder when you're born in a country that looks like it was designed to make you fail.
I try not to make blogs about my financial situations and whatnot, but every now and then, I just can't help but imagine what life would have been like if things had been a little bit different positively.
At the end of the day, the majority of us have to get up and work and just hope that things go our way, because regardless of the fact that we may not have the money or connections that we need to make things easier for us, one thing is certain, and that is that we all have to keep on going, hoping that while trying to put one foot in front of the other, we end up meeting our luck someday and things eventually turn out for good for each and every one of us.
