Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. I have had a lovely day and it's now time to break down how it went including some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
You definitely know the drill, let's get things rolling 💨.
So I did begin my day with a quick walk around the neighborhood. It was mostly cloudy ☁️ as I made my way.
Then I was back indoors handling the usual house chores. Later settled down to some you tube videos and also watched the trending news.
The final walk was the usual slow paced sunset 🌄 walk. This time around the neighborhood ending up at the park 🌲 before heading back home and calling it a day.
So that was the stepping and now let's delve into the trending stories making headlines.
Gaza trending as a new sad milestone was reached today😿. 40,005 Palestinians have now been killed in ten months of Israeli airstrikes, helicopter attacks and indiscriminate bombing that seems unimaginable in this day and age 🙀.
The 40,000 is just the tip of the iceberg as close to ten thousand Palestinians are reported missing, most have been buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings or some of the bodies blown to pieces😿.
Not far off in Doha Qatar, the Gaza ceasefire talks have resumed and will continue into Friday.
Lets hope some deal is reached to stop the bloodshed and start rebuilding Gaza.
In Israel, families of captives held in Gaza rallied in Tel Aviv asking their govt to do more to release their loved ones from Hamas.
Trending in Europe, Ukrainian army is going deeper in Kursk region of Russia🙀. Meanwhile Russia trying hard to contain the incursion into its territory.
Also trending, health officials in Sweden say they have confirmed the first case of more serious variant of monkey pox🙀.
Across the pond in the US, Biden and VP Kamala Harris have campaigned together in Maryland. I still don't know if Kamala has turned pro crypto yet, there are rumours that she's coming around 😹.
Finally in crazy weather, Italy's mount Etna volcano 🌋 has erupted yet again causing flight cancellations in nearby airport🙀.
In the UK, an interesting discovery has revealed that the Stonehenge megalith rock came from Scotland over 750 km away and not from Wales as previously thought😹.
The researchers say the discovery rewrites relationships between Neolithic populations.
