Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. Its been another great day and as always am back to report on it and get you up to speed with some of the trending stories.

So today I began my day with a walk around the neighborhood. Nothing new just a nice walk😹.
It was sunny 🌞 and cloudy ☁️ as I made my way.
Then I was back indoors handling the usual house chores including the cooking.
In between I watched some Olympics action and also caught up on other trending stories.
My next walk was at the city centre this afternoon getting some errands done.
Then the final walk was this evening after a little bit of resting. It was quite cloudy ☁️ n windy but luckily it didn't rain.
So that was my day and now let's get into the trending stories.
In the UK, calm has returned after those far right protests. Yesterday's counter protests against the far right seems to have settled things💯.
Majority of people want to live in peace and say they are and will continue to be welcoming to refugees in their communities.
Meanwhile, more people have been charged with racist attacks, destruction of property and causing mayhem. Police are still looking for more far right extremists still in hiding🙀.
Nairobi Kenya trending as protesters took to the streets to call for president Ruto to resign and leave immediately 🙀. However, police engaged them and fired teargas to ensure no gatherings😿.
Let's move to the middle east. The horror scenes continued as Israeli airstrikes targeted two schools in Khan Younis sheltering displaced Palestinians🙀.
16 killed and even more feared to be buried under the rubble😿.
Meanwhile, Qatari, Egyptian and US leaders have issued a statement urging for a ceasefire agreement for Gaza and release of Israeli hostages being held there💯.
Across the pond in the US, Kamala Harris trending as she campaigned in Michigan with her running mate Tim Walz.
She said she was ready to debate Trump and a date has been set for 10 September. Trump on the other hand says he is ready for three debates with Kamala😹.
Finally let's finish with some Olympics action. Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem trending as he broke the record and won a gold 🏅 medal in javelin finals🎉.
Another shocker in the men's 200metres race. Botswana's Letsile Tebogo stunned American Noah Lyles to win the gold 🏅 medal. Making history as the first African to win and first ever gold medal for his country.
Definitely congratulations 🎉🎊 to both of them and everyone else who won gold today. Well done💯.
