So I had a rather short fast paced morning session consisting of a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. The cool morning breeze 🍃 was fantastic 💯 but the drizzling wasn't fun.
Then I was back indoors for some resting, a little bit of daily chores and catching up with the news. The next chance of walking came in the afternoon out to the city centre for some errands. A rainy day as I made my way. As always I squeezed in the afternoon nap and woke up some time early evening. After some news and you tube, it was time for the slow paced sunset walk. I had a nice walk then was back indoors still watching news and some you tube. So now let's quickly take a look at a summary of what was trending.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Armenia trending as ethnic Armenians continued their exodus from Nagorno karabakh region. The leader of that breakaway region has dissolved the self declared republic🙀. Azerbaijan quicky took over Nagorno karabakh in a swift military takeover. It has assured the 120k Armenians living there no harm. However, they don't trust the Azeri and are leaving the area in fear of ethnic cleansing😿.
In Iraq, a sad day as funerals were held for those killed in the wedding celebration fire 🔥. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families 😭.
Let's go to Europe, Netherlands trending after a deranged gunman killed three people in twin shootings at two different venues in Rotterdam 😭. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families😿.
Across the pond, Mexican president was meeting Latin American foreign ministers for migration talks. This because record number of migrants are crossing from Mexico into the US. Something's gotta give 😹.
Finally in crazy weather, Swiss ice glaciers have lost as much volume in two years as they did in three decades from 1960 to 1990🙀. In Greece floods reported with damage to infrastructure and power cuts.
Across the pond, record high temperature reported in Puerto Rico and British virgin islands🙀. All will be well but man is doing a number on mother earth and she is responding badly. We better be careful😹.
